Parent Support: Gymnastics in East London
We understand that family life is busy, and having clear, practical information makes a big difference.
Everything you need as a Gymlab parent is here in one place. Whether your child attends classes in East London, you’ll find practical guidance on what to bring, how sessions work, bookings, and key information to help things run smoothly.
Our aim is simple: to make your experience as smooth, clear, and supportive as possible.
Starting well helps children feel calm and ready to take part.
Before arriving at your child’s gymnastics class in East London, w recommend:
Arriving 5–10 minutes early
Ensuring your child has used the toilet beforehand
Bringing a water bottle
Wearing comfortable, fitted clothing
These small steps help children settle quickly and feel more confident as they enter the session.
Preparing for Your Child’s Gymnastics Class
What Should My Child Wear?
Children should wear clothing that allows them to move freely and safely.
Shorts, leggings, or comfortable sportswear
A fitted t-shirt
No dresses, skirts, or tights
For safety reasons, gymnastics is done barefoot or in grippy socks. Regular socks can be slippery, especially when running and jumping, so we avoid them to reduce the risk of slipping.
What to Bring to Class
To keep things simple, your child only needs a few essentials:
A filled water bottle
Comfortable clothing (worn to class)
Grippy socks (optional) or bare feet for safety
We recommend avoiding bringing unnecessary items, as space is kept focused on the children’s activities.
What Happens When You Arrive?
Across all Gymlab locations, sessions are designed to feel calm and welcoming from the moment you arrive.
You can expect:
A friendly greeting from the coaching team
A structured and organised set-up
A safe environment ready for exploration
For trial sessions, parents are welcome to stay and observe. After this, parents do not remain inside the session space due to safeguarding and safety policies.
Supporting Your Child’s First Sessions
It is completely normal for children to take time to settle, especially in a new environment.
Some children:
Join in straight away
Prefer to observe first
Stay close before gradually exploring
At Gymlab, children are never rushed. Confidence builds naturally when they feel safe, respected, and supported.
All weekly gymnastics classes across East London run on a monthly membership model.
Monthly membership: £55 per month
Payments are taken each month automatically
Spaces are reserved for your child’s weekly class
This structure supports consistency, helping children build confidence and progress over time.
If joining mid-month, fees are adjusted on a pro-rata basis.
All bookings are managed securely through ClassForKids.
