Why Families Trust Gymlab

Gymlab’s teaching is rooted in holistic child development, independence, teamwork, and confidence. The coaching style is kind and nurturing, with children encouraged to progress at their own pace rather than feeling judged or pressured.

Our coaches are DBS-checked, with paediatric first-aid trained team members on-site, helping parents feel confident that their children are in safe hands.

Confidence That Grows Over Time

Many parents tell us that Gymlab has helped their child become more confident, independent, and willing to try new things. Progress is not only measured in gymnastics skills but in self-belief, focus, and enjoyment.

Mia’s first year

Mia’s story is a composite based on the journeys of several children in our classes. Names and identifying details have been changed.

When Mia joined Gymlab shortly after turning four, she had never done gymnastics before. For the first few weeks, she stayed close to the edge of the hall. Anything involving going upside down was a firm no.

Coaches broke unfamiliar skills into manageable steps and gave her time to settle. She started by rocking on her back, then rolling down a soft wedge.

A year later, she can complete a controlled forward roll, walk the beam on her own, and hang and swing from the bar. She now walks into the hall independently and heads straight to her group. She is beginning to work on her cartwheel.

She tries. She wobbles. She tries again.

Holiday Camp Feedback

Gymlab holiday camps run at Stratford only. The next camps are 26–30 October 2026 and 15–19 February 2027. Families particularly valued the gymnastics sessions, airtracks, monkey bars, soft play, and Summer water games. Many children returned to camp after camp, with parents saying Gymlab was often the only camp their child wanted to attend.
